Skip to menuCLAG had a stall at the Oakleigh Festival, held on the 18th March, including the launch of our new petition and a historical panorama of the Pool over the past fifty years. The display had newspaper clippings from the Pool’s opening, fundraising reports, letters from children and photos of it in more recent times. We also collected a number of signatures for the new petition.
The Festival was also host to the final stage of Council’s pool consultation programme, but that won’t stop us continuing to emphasise our support of the Pool to Council.
We hope to include much of the historical material on display on the website soon, along with photos of the stall.
