First Council meeting of 2007

The first Council meeting for 2007 is on Tuesday, 30th January at 7.30 PM at the Monash Civic Centre. We need a presence at all council meetings to continually remind councillors how strongly we feel about saving the Oakleigh Pool.

At last night’s CLAG meeting several people proposed questions they intend to put to councillors at Question Time. If you have a question for the council meeting remember it has to be submitted in writing before noon on the Monday before the meeting. It can be posted, hand delivered or faxed to Nick Andrianis, Council’s Civic and Governance Coordinator on 9518 3444. For more details see the Monash Council website.

Thanks to all of you who have written to the local papers. I look forward to these letters being published over the coming weeks—sometimes the papers hold the letters back for a couple of weeks.
