Pakenham's 1950s pool to re-open
Skip to menuThe Shire of Cardinia recently signed a contract for the refurbishment of Pakenham outdoor swimming pool. A contemporary of Oakleigh pool, the complex has been closed since 2001. It will receive extensive works and a new childrens’ pool, solar heating and upgraded change-room facilities, for under $2 million. The people of Pakenham have been campaigning for the pool to be re-opened since it closed.
So Pakenham pool refurbished for under $2 million, Boroondara pool: $3 million, Oakleigh pool: ?.
