Meetings this week

There is a Council meeting this Tuesday, 29TH August, held at the Civic Centre, as usual. Some questions regarding the pool will be put to councillors.

Furthermore, CLAG will be holding its next meeting on Thursday, 31ST August from 6.30—7.30 PM, again in the Oakleigh Public Library meeting rooms. All welcome. The reasons for keeping the pool remain as pertient as ever.

We’d like to congratulate Geoff Lake—among others—who have publicly announced their recognition that a “splash pad” is an inappropriate alternative to a pool.
