possible aquatics
Skip to menu| I just got a reply to my email from one of the councilors. The steering committee will include the possibility of aquatics in their breif- it sounds like lip service to me. Possibly is not definitely. Aquatics could mean a water fountain or a drinking tap. Here's an exerpt: "The committees brief requires maintaining the green feel of the site, a focus on recreational outcomes for families and youth, additional opportunities for picnics and BBQ facilities, and I would hope a view to providing further opportunity for all Oakleigh people to enjoy this wonderful recreational site all year round, rather than 12-13 weeks a year." There was mention of the cost- but does anyone remeber that the council just spent millions of dollars on one of those 'electric commonwealth games' fish?
